Data Ethics & Attribution
At Choozimo, we believe trust is earned—not assumed. This page explains how we gather, analyze, summarize, and attribute publicly available product feedback from across the internet, and how we do so with respect for the creators, communities, and platforms that make such insights possible.
1. Our Approach to Research
Choozimo does not test or review products directly. Instead, we research what real product owners and reviewers are sharing online—across marketplaces, review sites, blogs, forums, and social platforms. We then distill these perspectives into clear, helpful summaries designed to save time and support better buying decisions.
Our research focuses on:
- Highlighting consistent praises and complaints.
- Identifying recurring patterns, issues, or standout features.
- Summarizing real-world experiences—not marketing or manufacturer claims.
2. Citing Sources
Where possible, we name the platforms where our research originates. These may include sources such as Amazon buyer reviews, personal blogs, YouTube channels, independent websites, and public forum discussions.
We believe in transparency. Each product page includes a Research Sources section that lists the platforms used in our analysis and, when appropriate, links to individual pages or videos where original content appeared.
3. Respecting Content Creators and Platforms
We recognize the work that creators put into their reviews, videos, and written content. Our summaries aim to respect both creators and the platforms that host their work. If you are a content creator or site owner and:
- you would like your content attributed differently, or
- you would prefer not to be included in our summaries,
please contact us. We take such requests seriously and will respond promptly.
4. Private Use of Publicly Available Information
To generate accurate summaries and statistical insights, Choozimo may privately store limited excerpts of publicly available product feedback. This information is used strictly for internal research, such as:
- identifying common themes and sentiment patterns,
- creating original summaries written in our own words, and
- supporting quality and consistency across product pages.
We do not republish external content verbatim, do not sell or distribute any stored data, and do not collect from private, gated, or paywalled sources.
5. Guiding Principles
Choozimo operates according to the following principles:
- Provide genuine value by saving shoppers time and reducing research fatigue.
- Give clear credit to the sources that inform our insights.
- Link to platforms and creators whenever appropriate and permitted.
- Operate transparently and respectfully within the broader digital ecosystem.
- Maintain openness to dialogue, correction, and collaboration with content creators and platforms.
These principles guide our work today and will continue to evolve as Choozimo grows.
6. Contact Us

We believe the internet thrives when everyone in the chain of value—shoppers, creators, and platforms—are treated fairly.
